Offboarding

Offboarding is the formal process of an employee's separation from a company, whether through resignation, termination, or retirement.

As part of this process, HR is responsible for updating the employee's last working day and documenting the reason for their departure. This could include whether the employee was let go due to poor performance or a reduction in force (RIF), or if they voluntarily left the company for personal reasons.

To ensure security and data integrity, a system job is triggered in the background that automatically logs out the employee's account on their last working day.
