Test Plans

A test plan is a written description of the general strategy, goals, parameters, and resources needed to test a software system. It acts as a guide for the testing procedures to be followed throughout a particular project or release. An organized test strategy makes ensuring that testing is systematic, thorough, and in line with project objectives.

A test plan provides a clear roadmap and guidance for the testing activities to be carried out. It outlines the objectives, scope, and strategies for testing, helping the testing team understand what needs to be tested and how to approach the testing process. It provides direction to testers, ensuring that they focus on the right areas and prioritize their efforts effectively.

Navigate to Test Management > Test Plans in the left navigator.

The Test Plan Overview provides a comprehensive view of all the created test plans. By accessing this view, you can conveniently review and manage your test plans.

To create a new 'Test Plan' click on the button on the top ribbon of the view. A form will now appear, fill in the required details and save the form.
